UPDATE, Sept. 3, 2:10 p.m.: The Webster Road railroad crossing is expected to remain closed through, Friday, Sept. 6. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes.

Sept. 3, 9:45 a.m.: AUBURN, Ala.- The Webster Road railroad crossing is currently closed while CSX makes repairs to the roadway approaching the crossing. All other railroad crossings in the area will remain open.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes through other nearby crossings such as on Byrd Street or Chadwick Lane. This release will be updated once a timeframe for the repairs has been determined.
